Check Out The First Teaser For Sky 1's New Singing Contest "Sing: Ultimate A Cappella"

The UK is back with a brand new singing competition, but this time, it's all vocal.

Back in July, we covered the developing story around an all new singing contest titled "Sing It" that was to hit airwaves later in the year. Read the initial announcement here. More details have been released on the show, along with show creators rebranding the project as "Sing: Ultimate A Cappella."

In the new British competition, 30 a cappella groups will take part in Sky 1's new a cappella show, in hopes of winning the chance to record an album at the famous Abbey Road Studios. Each episode will feature six groups in two rounds. The first round will showcase groups performing a medley of songs, while the second will see groups covering songs by iconic artists.
The top two groups will then go head-to-head in a final showdown, where a winner will be chosen.

The show will be hosted by English television personality Cat Deeley, and feature performances by the award-winning UK ace-group, the Sons of Pitches. "Sing: Ultimate A Cappella" premieres October 1st on Sky 1.

Check out the first teaser video for the new contest in the video below.
