In The Stairwell Impresses America's Got Talent Judges With One Direction Cover

Get ready to see a whole lot more of In The Stairwell.

Making their America's Got Talent debut on last night's episode, the men of In The Stairwell dazzled the judges...well, almost all of them.

The college a cappella group from the United States Air Force Academy performed an exciting rendition of One Direction's "Drag Me Down" full of big notes, energy, and one incredible soloist. The audition was riveting enough to bring judges Simon Cowell and Heidi Klum to their feet. While most of the panel said only good things about the group, Howell Mandel didn't feel quite the same way.

Although the judge thanked the group for their military service, mandelĀ gave the group their only "x" buzzer for the night, saying that the performance bored him. However, the other judges could not disagree more, with Simon stating that "people are really going to like you."

The group ultimately received a yes from three of the judges advancing them to the next round. We will be anxiously awaiting what they will bring to the stage during their next performance. Stay tuned.
