Relive The Golden Age Of Doo-Wop With This Holiday #TBT

Basses can finally step into the spotlight now that the holidays are here.

I'm sure we all remember that iconic bathroom scene in Home Alone, where Kevin McCallister is getting ready for the day and is singing in front of the mirror. Well, the song he is crooning to is "White Christmas" by The Drifters, and over the years it has become a staple at Christmas concerts everywhere.

In today's #TBT, we honor those who make up half of the rhythm section. You know, the guys with the low notes. We're talking about basses.

In this cover of The Drifters' hit, On The Rocks from the University of Oregon share a somewhat comedic, but vocally pleasing rendition the Christmas classic that's sure to put you in the holiday mood with the first verse alone.
