We have to apologize. We sometimes get a bit giddy and excited when ICCA season is in full effect, causing us to somehow (yes, even we are surprised) miss other national events happening around the world.
Enter, The 2017 Scottish A Cappella Championships!
The event hosts collegiate groups from all around Scotland, similar to the format of an ICCA event, where competitors are critiqued by a judging panel. The top group is crowned event champions and receives a £1000 prize. This year's champs are the University of St. Andrew's Alleycats, a coed group whose roots go back 15 years.Learn more about the group here. And check out their performance from this year's contest below.
