Some songs really take on a life of their own, creating a beautiful landscape and atmosphere of lush sounds.
I don't think there's a better example of this in the dream pop, a cappella genre than this #TBT of "Two Weeks" by the Chucktown Trippintones. It's easy to get lost in the lead's light and colorful vocals, but what's also hypnotizing the senses is the steady rhythmic parts of the backing vocals. They're incredibly melodic and engaging to the ear.
This whole performance is having us long for the 80s.
