If I were to list the top 10 song genres covered in contemporary a cappella, something tells me that Baroque Pop would be nowhere on anyone's radar. But, due to this, when a cover pops up, it's all the better for it.
I think the art style has a lot to offer to the vocal arts. For starters, it ventures into the pop realm, which is practically a part of everything nowadays. But more importantly, it incorporates softer tones with some nice harmonies, and has roots in classical stylings. In this cover of "Sonsick" by the WashU Stereotypes, the group is in great form as they showcase the a cappella layering process that intertwines some great dynamics and a satisfying, almost chill and laid back vibe.
